Powertraveller Silverback-Gorilla Portable Power Pack and UPS
The Silverback-Gorilla is the latest revelation in portable power! It’s a UPS device - Uninterruptable Power Supply - and it means that the next time there's a power cut you won’t be left stranded. Your Silverback will be on hand to help…Silverback-Gorilla boasts all the handy features of the original Powergorilla laptop charger, and includes a unique AC output socket. This feature allows you to connect any electronic device directly into a worldwide AC wall outlet.
Silverback-Gorilla will give you up to 14 hours of power (depending on your laptop's specification). If the wall power is cut whilst Silverback is being used to charge a device, an audible warning will sound and Silverback will continue to deliver charge uninterrupted (the audible warning can be muted via a switch on the front panel).
Like Powergorilla, Silverback will charge devices up to 24v through its DC output socket. The adjustable voltage supplies (5v, 8.4v, 9.5v, 12v, 16v, 19v or24v) will let you charge an array of devices including laptops, cell phones, iPods, PDAs and MP3 players. Silverback can even charge several devices simultaneously.
Silverback is easy to use. It features an intuitive LCD screen and its sleek aluminum casing, with shock resistant rubber protection, makes it totally robust. Some of the many safety features include output auto-lock, voltage limitation protection, short circuit protection, over charging protection and over heat protection.
