LOAD SHEDDING :

Typically the lights of the unit would automatically come on when powered. However, if you had a long period of load shedding which resulted in the complete draining of the unit, then even if you plug the power the rest of the lights would not come on automatically as before, and that you would need to press the power button for at least 3 seconds after which the lights would come on.
