Dissapointing Headset
I was excited to see a ROG (republic of Gamers) headset, I though that if anyone could produce a great headset they could. Unfortunately this is not the case, the headset makes your ears way to hot after a couple hours of gaming, so hot they start to sweat, yeah not a great image I know. Further more the headset is rather heavy, however you do get used to the weight after a bit. But putting a skull candy headset on after a couple of hours makes you notice the weight. But most important of all is the microphone at first it seems great to be able to remove it when you need to but it soon stopped working properly for me. I could hardly get any sound recorded even with the recording levels set all the way up. As I mentioned this is a ROG headset and they should know about gaming and how important communication is during online clan matches. On the bright side the speakers themselves are pretty decent and hand 5.1 sound very well. The noise cancelling function is very good, great for cancelling out the sound of people trying to talk to you while your gaming as well as other system and ambient noise. The headset folds away into a very nice carry case which provides them protection when traveling but can be a little bulky.
